Admission Procedure

Sl No. Programmes Eligibility Criteria Selction Procedure
1 I.S.C Pass class 10 counting aggregate Marks. Admission will be on merit determined by the aggregate percentage marks obtained in Class 10.
2 B.Sc. (Hons.)

Subjects -

Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics,
Botany & Zoology

Intermediate with minimum aggregate of 45% counting all required subjects. Admission will be on merit determined by the aggregate percentage marks obtained in subjects concerned in Class 12.
For College Admission, students have to submit these mentioned documents along with the application form.
  • Original School Leaving Certificate (SLC)/ College Leaving Certificate (CLC), which will be originally submitted at the college
  • Photocopy of Marks sheet & Admit Card
  • Recent Three passport size photographs
  • Income Certificate & caste Certificate (only for Schedule caste / Schedule Tribe / OBC & EBC candidate)
  • PH Certificate (only for PH candidate)

Requirements for Preparation of Online Selection List

Subject: Requirements for preparation of online selection list for admission in Degree-Part-I

Dear Sir,

The last date of online application for Degree Part-I (2020) ended on 16.10.2020. The list for each of the colleges is required to be prepared now. In the course of preparation of the selection list, please keep the following factors in view:

  • Selection list to be prepared on First Choice-cum-Merit basis as given by the students in the Application Form.
  • Reservation roster of the State Government is to be followed.
  • Selection list of a particular subject for a college should contain only those candidates as sanctioned per the number of seats demanded.
  • Exercising on the first choice of the applicants, if the total number of applicants for a subject for a college falls short of the total number of sanctioned seats, the vacant seats in such a case will be filled on the basis of the second or later choices given by the students, in order of Choice-cum-Merit.
  • Reservation Roster of the State Government is summarized below:

(A) VERTICAL RESERVATION:

  • Scheduled Castes: 16%
  • Scheduled Tribes: 01%
  • Extremely Backward Class: 18%
  • Backward Class: 12%
  • Women of Backward Classes: 03%
  • Economically Weaker Sections: 10%

(B) HORIZONTAL RESERVATION:

  • Women: 35%
  • Disabled: 5%
  • Dependents of Freedom Fighters: 2%
